Shaman Calendar: Thursday

Thursday is Wood (or Tree) Day, and because I would never forgive myself for drawing Bokutou no Ryuu, I have drawn Lyserg. Behold the green-ness.

When he first came into the series, I felt really sorry for Lyserg, what with Hao turning his mummy and daddy into ashes. But I became frustrated with him quickly, mostly because he continually makes bad decisions. He beats up Ren and Horohoro (this is a MAJOR no-no, despite the fact that Ren gets his ass kicked on a regular basis...), and (at first) turns Yoh and his Band of Violently Merry Shamans down as comerades. And then the little boy runs off and joins a cult!

You've probably just figured out that I'm NOT an X-Laws fan, huh.

Anyway, despite the fact that he pisses me off to no end, I do think Lyserg has his moments. And this is why he got to be Thursday, and why Bokutou no Ryuu did not.
