And Tuesday, being Fire Day, went to our favorite China boy and his Tongari of Violent Death, Tao Ren.
After I had made this, I realized I should have given Fire Day to Hao, him being The Burninator and all. But I had already drawn Ren so nicely, and besides, I thought Hao should get Saturday, since Saturday (for me, anyway) is also known as The Day When I Don't Have to Do Anything. So Ren got Tuesday, which is also appropriate. Ren is actually my second favorite character in all of Shaman King, but I can never seem to do a decent picture of him. While this one is kind of...simple, I'm quite fond of it. Of course, it doesn't feature him smiting Yoh, so I don't think HE'D care for it. In fact, he'd probably stab me with his Basontou or his tongari. Shaman King is Takei Hiroyuki's gift to humankind, and what a gift it is. |
